CREEKSIDE FELLOWSHIP CONSTITUTION
PREAMBLE
We declare and establish this constitution to preserve and secure the principles of our faith, and to govern the body in an orderly manner. Exodus 24:3, Jude 3, 1 Corinthians 14:40
ARTICLE I - NAME
This body shall be known as Creekside Fellowship, Trenton, Texas. The church facility is located at 11391 S Hwy 121, Trenton, Tx 75490. Acts 2:42
ARTICLE II - MISSION AND PURPOSES
Our mission is to love the Lord, love all people, and lead others to do the same. Mathew 22:37-40
ARTICLE III - STATEMENT OF FAITH
We believe the Holy Bible as the inerrant (without error), infallible (reliable), inspired (God breathed) Word of God and the basis of our beliefs. Psalms 12:6, 2 Peter 1:29-21, 2 Timothy 3:15-17
ARTICLE IV - POLITY AND RELATIONSHIPS
The government of Creekside Fellowship is vested in the body of believers who consent with biblical authority, profession of faith, immersion in water, and accountability in discipleship. Believers are governed by God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; and overseen by Elders, served by Deacons, and co-labored by Laity. ARTICLE - V CHURCH COVENANT
We agree, therefore, with the aid of the Holy Spirit, to walk together in Christian love, to strive for the advancement of the church in knowledge, holiness and comfort, as established by the Word of God. Ephesians 4, Colossians 2-3
